Our Program provides a nurturing, supportive experience for community youths during out of school time. Thoughtfully designed, our unique programs provide social engagement and personal and academic growth through fun, interactive activities and field trips.

We empower children ages 7-18 from local underserved communities, aiming to maximize their potential and help them become bright constructive leaders of tomorrow.

NEWSFLASH

In public school, 68% of fourth-graders lacked proficiency in reading. And close to 3/4 (74%) of eighth-graders were nonproficient in math according to AECF.

238,000 children, statewide, are unsupervised from 3pm-6pm and 19% of juvenile violent crimes occur between 3pm-7pm, following regular school hours.

Eight-grade math and reading proficiency declined between 2019 and 2022, more than all other periods in which data is available. (USA Facts, 2023)

Youth crime is on the rise. Youths between 12 and 17 commited nearly 123,000 serious violent crimes in the country in 2021. (statista.com)

In 2019, seven out of ten teens (13-17) reported anxiety and depression as being the largest problem experienced in comparison to bullying, drug addiction, drinking alcohol, poverty, teen pregnancy, and gangs. (Pew Research Center)

40,799 junior and senior high students throughout GA have reportedly had suicidal thoughts.

Approximately three-fifths (63%) of rising GA 4th graders are unprepared to meet 4th grade literacy fundamentals. (GSAN)

From 2016 to 2020, nearly 26% more U.S. children, ages 3-17, experienced anxiety or depression, AECF reports.

WELCOME! Thank you for your interest in SOLID Academy! Please prepare to spend up to 20 minutes completing all eight sections of this form accurately. This information is crucial for ensuring the safety and positive experience of your child(ren) upon acceptance. To complete your child’s registration, please follow these steps:

1. Complete the Registration Form Below

Be sure to fill out the registration form entirely. If a required section does not apply, enter N/A.

2. Gather Required Verification Documents

Registration is finalized only upon receipt of the following required materials.

  • ​Copy of child’s birth certificate

  • Parent or guardian's photo ID

  • Current lease or mortgage utility bill (light, gas, or water)

  • Child's progress or report card (dated within the last 90 days)

​

3. Submit Verification

Click Upload at the end of this form to attach or Email all documentation to support@solidacademy.org. Make sure that All Documents Are Clear and Legible.

Include your child’s full name in the email subject line.

The annual fee to join is $75 per child, helping cover basic program expenses for field activities. We offer flexible monthly payments and discounts for families with multiple children. You will be informed about your  dues upon acceptance. Slots may become available for guest  participants and waiting list applicants when space permits. Sign up today—your child will love being part of the family!

To maintain program eligibility, ALL parents and legal guardians must provide and maintain active internet access, a current email address, and a valid telephone number. These are essential for receiving critical program updates and staff communications.
